Within a few months of opening our doors, we joined SEMA, and we attend the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas every year. SEMA has been a great resource for market research, industry insight, product knowledge, and sales leads. For 46 years, SEMA has helped drive the automotive aftermarket!
In 2012, we expanded our relationship with SEMA by joining the SEMA Data Coop (SDC) Beta, which is allowing us to help our customers move their product and catalog data towards ACES & PIES data standards. Our partnership with the SDC also allows us to receive manufacturer product and catalog data from other brands so that we can make these products available for our customers to sell online. Our investment in standardized data, and data sharing with the SDC lowers our data management costs, increases data quality, and allows us to take our eCommerce solutions to more customers more quickly.
